🚨 Adverse Weather Update – Disaster Management Centre (DMC)

The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) reports that the recent severe weather conditions continue to impact many parts of Sri Lanka.


πŸ“Œ Key Updates (Past 72 Hours)

  • 46 deaths have been reported within the last 72 hours.

  • From 16 November to today, the total number of fatalities has increased to 56.

  • 21 people are currently reported missing.

  • 43,991 individuals from 12,313 families have been affected island-wide due to floods, landslides, and heavy rain.


🏠 Damage to Property

  • 4 houses completely destroyed

  • 666 houses were partially damaged
