The section of the Kandy Main Road from Ganethenne to the Kadugannawa Police Station has been closed again following a rockfall incident, according to the Kegalle District Secretary.

The road has been shut as a precaution due to the continued risk of additional rockfalls. Earlier this morning, only one lane had been open for limited traffic, but authorities have now fully closed the stretch for public safety.

Travellers are advised to avoid the area and follow official updates for alternative routes and reopening times.
